A New Journey Begins: Welcome to The Weird Sistas Podcast!
It all started out as an idea between two close friends: Tevina and Maddy. We were both looking to start a podcast that focused on celebrating weird and wonderful people, stories, and ideas. We wanted to create a platform that could be a safe space for anyone who wanted to share their unique stories.
We chose to call our podcast Weird Sistas Podcast to reflect the unique experiences that have gotten us to where we are today. This podcast is an exploration of what’s supposed to be considered ‘normal’ from our out-of-the-box perspective. We wanted to create a platform that was open to everyone and was intended to build a supportive community. Our aim is to provide an entertaining yet informative and inspiring podcast.
We launched the podcast in March 8th, 2023 in honor of Women’s History Month and the response has been incredible since. We also got amazing feedback from people who were listening and enjoying the podcast. We’ve listened to the people reaching out and wanting to be interviewed on the show and made improvements to our website WeirdSistasPodcast.com.
We discuss a wide range of topics, from mental health to relationships to business. We also have some really fun conversations about music, lifestyle, and culture.
We are so proud of what we have created and the community we have built around the podcast. We are grateful to everyone who has listened, shared the podcast, and supported us in our journey. We are excited to continue to share stories, celebrate weirdness, and build our community.
