Mad Mostly Media was created to change the narrative through creative visual, written, and audio publications.
Life Projected Through Creativity
Pablo Picasso said, “Art is the elimination of the unnecessary.” How do you feel about a good book, movie, painting, portrait, mural? Isn’t there something equidistant yet mysterious about each author, actor, artist? Remember that they are people too. Real people with thoughts and feelings. Thoughts and feelings that travel through spoken or unspoken words. The alive and unalive have the power to change the narrative of society. When we feel silenced and our voices aren’t heard, write or paint – create! Be you, unapologetically and in doing so, you will create moments that are better than the last.

Be the voice in a room silent room, share your ideas with the world even if they do not see what you see or think how you think. Leave examples of leadership everywhere you go!

Make Mental Health & Well-Being for All a Global Priority!
Let me start off by saying: it is okay to not be okay! You are not a robot. You are not a superhuman. You are not a wall nor a rock. You are a person. Society has conditioned us to keep up and keep going without pausing, without reflecting, without rejoicing. No More! Our mental health and well-being is so valuable and it truly should be a global priority for all. Not only do we access to full healthcare but we need access to mental health trainings for first responders. We need more trainings in lower income communities, access to more health resources and clinics within the neighborhoods distanced. Too often do we write people off as “crazy” without realizing the root of the issue. Some don’t even understand there is a root in an issue and what’s why we always ask “is there is a problem?” Simply math! Not when it comes to our mental health and well-being.
When was the last time you took a break away from all of your responsibilities? Who do you talk? Are you the one they come to talk to? Is there something keeping you up at night? Do you often question yourself and where you are going? What if the answer to all of these worrisome questions was mental health awareness. Learning my triggers and what gets me to the point of rage. If they won’t provide us with the educate we need, then we must fight for it and learn to teach it ourselves. We are so much more than society has written us to be.
Find someone you trust, likely really truly trust. Ask them to be your person. This person has to be someone who will listen to hear you without judgement. On the days where you feeling like a ball full of rage or sadness, check in with your person, but please don’t wait until the rage or sadness has built up. Make it your priority to speak up! The more that speak, the more louder the crowd will be.
